Let's face it, wearing black is easy. The real challenge is color.  When I was in my late teens I wore black almost exclusively and in my dramatic woeful way related to the opening lines of Chekhov's The Seagull answer to why the lead always wore black:  "I'm in mourning for my life."

Sure it looks cool in your 20s (and is always slimming) but at a certain point it starts to age the face.  It can emphasize wrinkles under the chin and on the face.  Highlight shadows under the eyes.  At least bring a splash of color around your face.  A scarf, a blouse under a black jacket, or a chunky necklace can help dramatically.  More color for your style
