Spring is here, summer is on it’s way, so we all know the number one topic: The Spring/Summer Catwalk Trends!
Let’s
start with some colour trends. This sunshine-season the pink colour
shades are a big hit! But also gold, mint green, candy cane pink, cotton
candy pink and coral you see a lot! Metallic stays hot, and natural
colours keep being a basic in your closet. Blue, white, and grey shades
stay classic. And to make things a little more fun and breezy we have
flower prints.
The
most seen clothing material is lace, mostly see-through light coloured
lace. Also light and transparent materials were seen a lot on the
catwalk. The brand that showed a lot of that was Burberry Prorsum, in
the fashion show they showed it with real elegance. They made classic
look hot with their see-through laced skirts and thin see-through
blouses.
Leather
stays a basic, I swear by leather, it’s a very sexy and it shows
confidence! So my tip: Buy a leather jacket, it’s a must have! Also this
season it keeps being a hit, belts, jackets, pants, skirts and even
dresses, everything goes well with leather!
The
shapes of the clothing are very loose fit, big jackets, shirts and
dresses! They have it all. Which I find perfect, cause me being a girl
who’s a bit fuller then average mostly wears loose fit clothing. But
don’t over do it, you don’t want to look like a ghost, right?
Further
more seen on the catwalk this season: sixties inspired sunglasses, maxi
dresses, pencil skirts, cut-out sandals with a heel, the open mid-riff
(cropped tops), and the loose fit trench coat. Hope you enjoyed reading
